The Great and Mighty Fluffy

Ah, The Great and Mighty Fluffy in all his morbidity and stabbity goodness. Oh, how I loved working on this lino print. I was almost sad when I finished it. It just seemed so...fitting...to work on a print about a deranged undead embodiment of murderous animosity by carving into linoleum with a sharp instrument. Does that say something about me? Anyway, for those who don't know, Fluffy is my personal little anima. He says what even I won't, does what I only wish I could, and therefore leaves a wake of bloody destruction in his rearview. Such a pity our legal system is so efficient these days...

Anyway, the piece itself was quite fun to work on. I finished it up during my last weeks in AP Art during my final year of high school, and obviously used two colors to print it. While this version turned out exquisitely, the other nine or so prints made from this carving didn't fare so well. I'm just ecstatic this one turned out like it did. It's by far the best print I've ever made, and likely ever will make.
